Building Project Management
Building back home while living abroad is one of the hardest things a Zimbabwean can attempt. Materials go missing. Builders disappear. Money is spent with nothing to show for it. And by the time you arrive to see the work for yourself, the damage is already done.
Strong Cord manages building projects on your behalf — standing on site as the reliable hand and eye you cannot be yourself.
- How it works:
- We agree the project and the estimated cost. You tell us what you want built, and we work out an estimated cost for the project together before anything begins.
- Funds are released for the work. You release the agreed project funds so that materials and labour can be paid for as the work progresses.
- We oversee the project on the ground. We manage builders and suppliers, buy materials, check on progress and keep the work moving.
- You receive regular updates and proof. Photos, written progress reports and records of what has been spent, so you always know exactly where your project stands.
- You pay our service fee. Our fee for managing the project is separate from the project funds, and is agreed with you upfront.
